A beautiful pair of hanging earrings from the Victorian (ca1877) era! Each of these exquisite earrings is made of 15kt rosy yellow gold (indicating English origin) and is comprised of a decorative gold hoop that?hangs from an open triangular?surmount. The front surface of the surmount is decorated with a swirled hand-etched design, and the hoops are adorned with a raised stud and leaf accents. Dangling from the triangle are three small urn-shaped spears, which give the piece lovely movement when worn. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear, these gorgeous earrings hang from clasped gold earring wires detailed with small 3-leaf clover toppers. Engraved inside each earring is the inscription "L.H. from L.M., Mar. 2 - '77".?Perfect for everyday wear, they would make a special addition to any Victorian collection!
